Woman found unconscious after fall in industrial park

NEW WINDSOR — A 25-year-old woman was found unconscious by co-workers Saturday after falling 20 to 25 feet off a ladder, the New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance Corps said.

The woman suffered a head injury and broken arm after falling from a ladder inside the Metal Container Corp. building at Stewart Industrial Park. She was flown to St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie.

Paramedics did not release the woman's name but said her injuries were not life-threatening.
