Man Fractures Skull In Ladder Fall At UCF

Orange County Fire Rescue responded to a call that a construction worker fell inside the physical sciences building at the University of Central Florida Friday.

Authorities said the person fell from a ladder inside the second floor of the building, located at 4000 Central Florida Blvd.

A ladder truck and rescue helicopter were at the scene.

The patient has suffered a severe skull fracture and back injuries.

Investigators are working to determine what happened.
